Call of Duty Bundles Explained Item by Item

Have you ever thought about getting a bundle in CoD? In this guide, I’ll explain how store bundles work, what you can find in them, and list some of the latest bundles that are worth checking out.

What Are Call of Duty Store Bundles

Bundles are themed packs of cosmetic and bonus content sold through the CoD Store in every installment. Since CoD Modern Warfare 2019, all subsequent CoD entries share the same framework, with some of them even sharing cosmetics. This is especially true for separate series: Modern Warfare and Black Ops. 

Instead of buying a skin, Blueprint, or charm separately, you purchase the entire bundle and receive everything listed inside it. In fact, Activision does not let players purchase individual items from a bundle separately. You can preview the included items before spending your COD Points.

Bundles can be bought directly in the game with CP or by using third-party marketplaces and sites such as this one. One of the perks of buying elsewhere is not having to convert your money into CoD Points, as usually the amounts of CP available are designed to make you pay more than one bundle’s cost.

Most bundles are built around one clear theme. That can be anything from a grounded military look to robots, monsters, fantasy armor, crossovers, or deliberately ridiculous cosmetics. The more expensive packs usually put most of their value into a special Operator Skin or Weapon Blueprint, with several smaller cosmetics added around it.

What Can Be Included in a CoD Bundle?

There is no fixed number or combination of items every bundle has to contain. A smaller pack may focus on a couple of Blueprints and cosmetics, while a major Mastercraft or Ultra Skin bundle can contain a much larger collection.

Not every item works everywhere. Check the compatibility icons before buying. Activision marks bundles and individual items with labels such as MP, WZ, and ZM to show where the content can be used. Zombies-focused bundles, for example, may include GobbleGums or Wonder Weapon cosmetics that have little or no use in regular Multiplayer.

Bundles with GobbleGums are seemingly the only type of bundles that provide direct in-game advantage, although, all gums can be earned in-game.

Tracer Pack, Reactive, Mastercraft, and Ultra Skin Bundles

You will see several labels attached to BO7 bundles, and they give you a good idea of what the main attraction is.

Tracer Packs contain Weapon Blueprints with customized bullet tracers. Many also come with Death Effects that change what happens visually when an enemy is eliminated.

Reactive bundles take things further. A Reactive Weapon Blueprint changes visually during a match, with its effects becoming more intense as you eliminate enemies. Black Ops 7 also lets Reactive Blueprints retain their signature appearance when certain attachments are changed.

Mastercraft bundles are usually centered around especially elaborate Weapon Blueprints. Mastercraft weapons can have unique animations, custom inspection sequences, and a much more heavily modified design than an ordinary Blueprint. BO7 Mastercraft weapons can also preserve their signature look when you swap supported attachments.

And its safe to say that these will return in Modern Warfare 4 in some capacity. But probably under a different name.

Ultra Skin bundles put the spotlight on an especially detailed Operator Skin. These skins can feature extensive model changes, visual effects, animations, or other extras you would not normally see on a standard Operator cosmetic. Some Ultra Skins can also be Reactive.

These categories can overlap. A bundle might technically be a Tracer Pack while also containing a Mastercraft Blueprint, an Ultra Operator Skin, tracers, and Death Effects.

How Much Do Black Ops 7 Bundles Cost?

Most BO7 bundles are purchased with COD Points, or CP, rather than directly with real money. COD Points can be bought through Call of Duty or your platform's store and then spent on bundles in the in-game Store.

There is no single bundle price. Current BO7 premium bundles commonly sit between 1,600 and 3,000 CP, with prices such as 1,600, 1,800, 2,000, 2,400, 2,800, and 3,000 CP appearing regularly.

The price generally goes up with the amount and type of content included. A simpler Tracer Pack may cost 1,600 or 2,000 CP, while bundles built around Reactive weapons, Ultra Skins, or elaborate Mastercraft Blueprints commonly reach 2,400 to 3,000 CP.

Are There Free Bundles in Black Ops 7?

Yes. Not every cosmetic bundle in Call of Duty costs COD Points.

Activision periodically puts Free Gift bundles in the Store. These are much smaller than the big premium packs and may contain something as simple as a Double XP or Double Weapon XP Token. Previous BO7 Free Gifts have included 30-minute, 45-minute, and one-hour XP Tokens, while some gifts have contained an additional cosmetic.

Free Gifts also rotate, so an older one may show as unavailable once its claim period has ended. If a Free Gift appears in your Store, there is no CP cost to claim it.

There can also be promotional rewards and special packs distributed through events, partnerships, or other Call of Duty promotions such as Twitch Drops. These work differently from the normal paid Store catalog, so we list them separately where relevant.

How Does the BO7 Store Rotation Work?

The Black Ops 7 Store is not a permanent catalog where every bundle ever released stays on the front page. New bundles are introduced throughout each season and during mid-season updates, while the Store highlights different packs over time.

This is why Spotlight, Trending, Most Popular, Operators, and other Store sections can change even when the bundles themselves have already been released. Activision also states that it may update, replace, or remove in-game content at any time.

There is another detail worth knowing when searching for bundles online. The official Call of Duty website does not display every bundle currently available in BO7. Activision specifically directs players to the in-game Store for the complete selection. A bundle may therefore exist in Black Ops 7 even when it is missing from the featured selection on callofduty.com.

Availability can consequently change over time. In this guide, the bundle list focuses on BO7 Store bundles we can verify, but a specific pack may not be sitting in your Store at the exact moment you check it.

All CoD Black Ops 7 Bundles

There’re lots of bundles that have been released since the game launched.

Bundle prices are not based purely on how many items you get. A good comparison is the 2,800 CP Bone Scout Mastercraft Bundle and the 1,800 CP Primal Python Bundle.

Bone Scout contains nine items: the Mastercraft Skeletal Grip AK-27, the Spinal Frame REV-46 Blueprint, the Boneyard Operator Skin, a Finishing Move, Weapon Charm, Calling Card, Emblem, Weapon Sticker, and Loading Screen. Its main AK-27 Blueprint also comes with tracers, Death FX, a Mastercraft design, and a Built-In Look that keeps its signature appearance with supported attachment changes.

Primal Python is 1,000 CP cheaper but still contains eight items. You get the Head Games KRS-7.62 and Deadly Shade AK-27 Blueprints, the Survivalist Operator Skin, a Finishing Move, Weapon Charm, Emblem, Spray, and a one-hour Double XP Token. These are conventional Blueprints and cosmetics rather than a Mastercraft centerpiece with special visual effects.

So paying more does not necessarily mean getting more for your buck. Premium bundles usually justify the higher price through things like Mastercraft or Reactive Blueprints, Ultra Skins, tracers, Death Effects, unique animations, and more elaborate designs, while cheaper Standard bundles can offer almost the same number of individual rewards.

Immersion-Breaking vs Themed Bundles

My favorite bundles are always the ones that fit the game’s setting and theme. I do not like immersion-breaking skins and bundles. But there are exceptions. For example, in Black Ops Cold War, we had the '80s Action Heroes and Die Hard Operator Bundle with Bruce Willis reprising his role as John McClane. That was setting- and era-appropriate.

But my favorite kind of bundles are the ones that offer unique looks for existing operators or new operators that fit the game. We had bundles with the Classic Ghost in MW and MW2. In BO7, bundles like “Tracer Pack: Operation” with the High Stakes operator skin, “Primal Python,” or even “Wrecking Crews”. But I definitely can’t stand bundles like “Roseate Dawn” or “Tarot Suit” with the Fated operator skin. But that’s just me. And if I’m completely honest, I can’t say that there are any “lazy” skins made for a quick cash grab. All bundles have unique and high-quality cosmetics, even those that I don’t like.

How Much Do Call of Duty Bundles Cost?

Most Call of Duty bundles cost between 1,000 and 3,000 COD Points, although pricing varies by game and bundle type. Larger packs with Mastercraft weapons, Reactive Blueprints, Ultra Skins, or crossover Operators generally cost more.

Can You Get Free Bundles in Call of Duty?

Yes. Call of Duty occasionally offers Free Gift bundles containing cosmetics, XP Tokens, or other rewards. Free content can also appear through events, promotions, and limited-time challenges.

Can You Buy Old Call of Duty Bundles?

Sometimes. The Call of Duty Store rotates its featured bundles, so a pack disappearing from the main Store page does not always mean it is permanently gone. Availability varies by game, and some limited-time or licensed bundles may never return.

Do Call of Duty Bundles Transfer Between Platforms?

Bundles purchased with COD Points generally work across supported platforms linked to the same Activision account. However, COD Points themselves are platform-specific, and content purchased directly with real money may also remain tied to the platform where it was bought.

Do Call of Duty Bundles Transfer Between Games?

Not automatically. Whether a bundle carries into another Call of Duty depends on which games share content and whether Activision supports Carry Forward between them. Older cosmetics can therefore remain usable in their original game even when they are unavailable in a newer title.
