LazyLand reaches 15 million registrations

A Greek social gaming company is going global.

LazyLand announced that the company's userbase passed the milestone of 15 million users, the largest compared to other game developers in Greece.

Founded in 2003, LazyLand was initially known for the social gaming network Zoo.gr, market leader for many consecutive years in Greece. Since 2013, however, the company started developing free-to-play cross-platform games, based on social interaction and is following the trend of native mobile game applications.

The most notable games that have been developed by LazyLand are based on match 3, puzzle,cards and board genres. LazyLand games include, among other titles, Oh My Ghost, Pool Arena and Mahjong Duels, while the company also offers customized content for specific markets like Turkey and Greece. It is worth mentioning that the 15 million users announced include users registered on all LazyLand games via all platforms. For the records, the Greek developer with the largest number of unique monthly paid subscribers is Aventurine, developer of the MMORPG series Darkfall, with over 100.000 subscribers for both games.

Apart from the game development, LazyLand, is also offering a turn-key publishing solution to third-party developers and publishers via a proprietary b2b social gaming platform. Through this platform, developers can deliver their games to LazyLand’s worldwide network and publishers can integrate new original content into their gaming portals.
