BAFTA Games Awards 2025: Οι νικητές

Best Game το Astro Bot.

Τα βραβεία BAFTA ανακοίνωσαν τους νικητές των φετινών BAFTA Game Awards 2025 και η βραδιά ανήκε ολοκληρωτικά στο Astro Bot, το οποίο σάρωσε τα βραβεία, κατακτώντας πέντε κατηγορίες, συμπεριλαμβανομένου του Best Game.

Η νίκη του Astro Bot στην κατηγορία Best Game το έφερε μπροστά από άλλους υποψήφιους, όπως τα Balatro, Black Myth: Wukong, Helldivers 2, The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom και Thank Goodness You're Here. Εξίσου εντυπωσιακή ήταν η παρουσία του και στις κατηγορίες Animation, Audio Achievement, Family Game, και Game Design. Ωστόσο, η ομάδα Team Asobi δεν μονοπώλησε εντελώς τα φώτα της δημοσιότητας. Το Balatro από τον δημιουργό LocalThunk κατέκτησε την κορυφή στην κατηγορία Debut Game, ενώ το εξαιρετικά ιδιόρρυθμο Thank Goodness You're Here της Coal Supper στέφθηκε Best British Game.

Σε άλλες κατηγορίες, το Helldivers 2 της Arrowhead Game Studios απέσπασε δύο βραβεία, στις κατηγορίες Multiplayer και Music,  ενώ το Neva της Nomada Studio κέρδισε στην κατηγορία Artistic Achievement, και το Metaphor: ReFantazio της Atlus ξεχώρισε στην κατηγορία Narrative. Το Tales of Kenzera: Zau της Surgent Studios κέρδισε στην κατηγορία Game Beyond Entertainment, το Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2 της Ninja Theory διακρίθηκε στο Technical Achievement, ενώ το Vampire Survivors αναδείχθηκε best Evolving Game. Το Still Wakes the Deep από την The Chinese Room ανακηρύχθηκε best New Intellectual Property. Στην κατηγορία best Performer in a Leading Role, ο Alec Newman βραβεύτηκε για την ερμηνεία του ως Cameron "Caz" McLeary στο Still Wakes the Deep, ενώ η Karen Dunbar απέσπασε το βραβείο best Performer in Supporting Role για τον ρόλο της ως Finlay στο ίδιο video game.
