Η διοργάνωση Golden Joystick Awards ξεκίνησε το 1982 και μέχρι σήμερα έχει βραβεύσει όλη την αφρόκρεμα του παγκόσμιου gaming.

Φέτος, η διοργάνωση θα διεξαχθεί στο Park Lane Hilton του Λονδίνου, την Παρασκευή 27 Οκτωβρίου 2006. Από σήμερα μπορείτε να ψηφίσετε μέσω του επίσημου site της διοργάνωσης, το www.goldenjoystick.com κάνοντας κλικ στην επιλογή "Cast Your Votes" από το αριστερά μενού.

Την περσινή σεζόν μετρήθηκαν 200.000 ψήφοι από gamers όλου του κόσμου. Και για την φετινή χρονιά αναμένεται παρόμοιος, ίσως και μεγαλύτερος αριθμός συμμετοχών.
