Got any desire for pool table? Pool Arena is a billiards game developed and published by the greek developer LazyLand. The game offers to players two variations of the game: the 8-ball and the 9- ball.

Basically it's a multiplayer game, in which two players can play simultaneously. There are four types of balls: the solids (numbered from 1 to 7), the 8-ball (the black one), the stripes (9-15) and the cue ball (the white one). The purpose of the game is to pocket all the balls by hitting the cue ball with the cue according to the rules of each game.

8-ball pool
Players hit the cue ball with their cue in order to pocket all other balls of the same group (solids or stripes) and then the 8-ball (8). The first player who pockets the 8-ball in a valid way wins.
The first player breaks the rack to start a game while the 8- ball stays in the middle. The player who breaks must strike the rack with the cue ball. Otherwise, the break becomes illegal and the turn switches to the opponent. Any balls pocketed on the break remain pocketed. If during a break the player pockets a ball, other than the 8-ball or cue ball, the same turn continues. If no balls are pocketed on the break, the turn switches to the next player. In order for a player to win, he has to pocket all the balls of his group (in any order or hole of the table) and to pocket the 8-ball at the end.

9-ball pool
The purpose of 9-Ball is to pocket the ball with the number nine (9), which is common for both players. The player who first pockets the 9-ball in a valid way wins.
The player must strike the 1-ball first and after that every player in every shot should try to pocket the ball with the smallest number. The balls involved in this game are the solids (1-7), the 8-ball (8) and the 9-Ball (9).
The first player breaks the rack to start a game. With each shot the cue ball must first contact the lowest ball on the table or otherwise it is a foul. A player's turn continues until the player misses, fouls, or wins the game by sinking the 9-ball. After a missed shot, the other player must shoot the ball from where it lies unless a foul has occurred. Players are not required to call any shots, including the 9-ball. The game ends when a player legally sinks the 9-Ball or when a player fouls out.
If a player fouls, the turn switches to the opponent. No balls are returned to their positions except the 9-Ball. The only exception is in an illegal break, where the player can place the ball in only one quarter length of the table. After a foul occurs, the opponent gains the ball in hand.
