BAFTA Game Awards 2019: Οι νικητές

Θρίαμβος για το God of War. [UPDATE]

[Αρχική δημοσίευση: 14/3/19] Τα βραβεία BAFTA της Βρετανικής Ακαδημίας δίνουν κάθε χρόνο βραβεία και στους game developers. Πριν από μερικές ώρες ανακοινώθηκαν οι υποψηφιότητες.

Από την σχετική λίστα το God of War έχει 10 υποψηφιότητες, κάτι που επικυρώνει τον τίτλο Game of the Year που του δώσατε στον ομώνυμο διαγωνισμό του GameWorld.gr, ενώ από τα indie games ξεχωρίζει το Return of the Obra Dinn με την περιορισμένη χρωματική παλέτα και την όμορφη ατμόσφαιρα, το οποίο και διαθέτει έξι υποψηφιότητες.

Οι νικητές των BAFTA 2019 θα ανακοινωθούν στις 4 Απριλίου.

[UPDATE: 6/4/19 - Οι νικητές] Τα games που κέρδισαν τα βραβεία στα BAFTA Game Awards 2019 έχουν πλέον ανακοινωθεί, με το God of War να είναι ο μεγάλος νικητής της διοργάνωσης για ακόμα μία φορά.

Το Action-Adventure της Sony Santa Monica έκανε party και στις βραβεύσεις του British Academy. Κερδίζοντας πέντε βραβεία, συμπεριλαμβανομένου του Best Game, εύκολα μπορεί να θεωρηθεί ο απόλυτος νικητής της βραδιάς. Από δύο βραβεία έλαβαν και τα Return of the Obra Dinn και Nintendo Labo, ενώ είχαμε και εκπλήξεις αφού το Red Dead Redemption ΙΙ έφυγε με άδεια χέρια, ενώ ο Jeremy Davies κέρδισε το βραβείο Best Performance για την ερμηνεία του ως Stranger στο God of War, αφήνοντας πίσω του τους Christopher Judge (Kratos), Roger Clark (Arthur Morgan) και Μελισσάνθη Μάχουτ (Kassandra).
